Johor Trip

Impromptu trip to Johor on one of our off days (29th Dec 09). We took a train to Kranji MRT and transfered to a feeder bus 160/170. The feeder bus brought us to Singapore Custom and to Woodlands Checkpoint. We walked along the immigration walkway to City Square. We heeded my sister's advice to change 50SG per person to RM. We settled our lunch at Kim Gary. The food is delicious and definitely cheaper than in SG. After lunch, we were off to our shopping. Everything ended in 4 hrs!

//From the loots below, do you think 100RM is enough? NO!

Singapore Philatelic Museum - I

On XMAS day, we randomly decided to head down to the Singapore Philatelic Museum. We were surprised that the entrance fee is free for that day! Quite love the place. Hope to go back there if I had a chance. Enjoy the pictures I have taken!

//Singapore Philatelic Museum - II will be coming up.

XMAS '09 In A Whole

On Friday, had my 1st Xmas dinner with my 'sisters' at mushroom pot. The food is not too bad. Look at the table of gifts. Hee, dun be too envious!

On Sunday, had my 2nd Xmas meal with my sec friends at the coffee lounge at GoodWood Park Hotel. We finally had our high tea buffet together after planning for so long. The food is quite disappointing. I would like to try the Le' Espresso there the next time. Of cos, the get together was good.

Before heading home, the durian puffs is definitely a must buy. I was savoring the puffs in my mouth while drafting this entry.

Hmm... Will there be a 3rd XMAS meal?

Car Boot Sale!

It started off with a clear blue sky like this. But within an hr, a heavy downpour flooded our stall. My first time to a flea market sale. Selling off my old stuff. I only manage to earn back my rental fee only. But the experience was fun. I want to go for more. Let the picture explains my day!

The wedding dinner was held at Furama Riverfront. My first time to the hotel, my first time to be at the reception table, my first time to a best friend's wedding, my first time to attend a wedding dinner with my him. So many first times yea. Everyone loves taking the Polaroid pictures pasting on the guest book.  A table of our partners and best friends. We totally enjoy ourselves. Congrats Ck & Lisee!

Li See's BIG Day

Early the morning 3 am, the sisters woke up, make up and dress up. All ready to go down Lisee's place. The bride is waiting to be doll up while the sisters getting ready for the action later. The bros. arrived late hence we have to cut short our games in order not to miss the auspicious time. We moved on to the groom's place for tea session and to Labrador park for photo shoot.

The delicious looking bread for the brothers. With small bitter gourd, small chili, lime, honey, lemon.
This is the beautiful bride of the day.

Photo-shoot at Labrador Park. Pity I have only my LX3 with me. These are the few photos I really like.

On a Sunday, we randomly thought of going for a kite -flying trip. We bought a 4 bucks kite Toy us rs and happily went to Marina Barrage. We flew our kite for 15 mins and the kite gave way. Disappointed, we told ourselves we will be going to go back there with a much bigger kite! Hence, I was clicking my camera happily. Enjoy the pictures below:
